One of the goals for Applied Magic is to find new artists with their own musical language, personality, and style. Tayga from Bergamo, Italy has all of these things in abundance. His first EP for Applied Magic is a reminder of how playful, emotional and experimental you can get, while still not losing focus of what's important: Making people dance and enjoy themselves.

Saturday Flavor is first in line. With an everchanging melody, multidimensional synth fragments, and time-traveling vocal snippets, it reassures us that reality is in its essence fractal.

White Buttons is Saturday Flavor's sonic little sister - cut from the same cloth but with it's own design altogether. And listen to the noise people... the way he's woven the two together is genius.

Non Linear Dialogue kicks things up a notch. An intricate puzzle of synths, drums, and voices, at the same time disorienting and uplifting. Played at the right moment goosebumps are guaranteed.

Last not least, it's the return of the Süßboys! Komenda are back on Applied Magic with a deeper and darker take on the track, cooking it down to the essence and letting it simmer on low heat.

This time, the artwork comes from an old friend - Stefan Batsch aka SKISM of Lodown fame, who is also part of the infamous Wasn & Wunderwaffel DJ-team and one of the best selectors you've probably never heard of. Seriously, check out his sets.
